Call for proposals: IEA Research for Education Series

The IEA Research for Education Series are in-depth, peer-reviewed, open-access thematic reports investigating critical questions concerning educational policies and educational research. Publications are based on secondary analyses of IEA data and the goal is to encourage international dialogue focusing on policy matters and technical evaluation procedures.

We invite authors to submit their proposals to author a new volume of the series entitled 'Setting a Foundation for the Interpretation and Use of Process Data in International Assessment'. The general theme for this report is around developing a general framework for using process or log file data stemming from a computer-based platform. IEA will fund both author and production costs for the publication.

In the context of IEA's recent Research and Development call, which broadly covers computer-based assessment, this call is more specific, and seeks an authoritative reference on the conceptual, ethical, and validity issues around collecting and using process data.

Further details can be found in the link below.

Proposals can be submitted by email to secreteriat@iea.nl by no later than 1pm (CEST) on Monday 31 May 2021.
