Following discussions with colleagues at ACER, the decision has been made by IEA’s Standing Committee to appoint IEA as the ICILS International Study Center moving forward.
Julian Fraillon, who has been the International Study Director of ICILS since its inception for both previous cycles (ICILS 2013 and ICILS 2018), will be joining the transition of ICILS to IEA and will continue in his role as ICILS International Study Director for ICILS 2023 at IEA. Daniel Duckworth will be joining Julian on ICILS 2023 at IEA. Daniel has led the development of the ICILS test content (for both CIL and CT) across both previous cycles of ICILS and brings further expertise and continuity to ICILS.
Both Julian’s and Daniel’s ongoing commitment to the study is key to the successful continuity of ICILS and they will oversee the smooth transition of the work of the International Study Center to IEA. We anticipate that the transition from ACER to IEA will be completed early November.
