Apply for the IEA Awards 2022

IEA's two annual awards were established in commemoration of the significant contributions that Bruce H. Choppin and Richard M. Wolf made to IEA.

The Choppin Award recognizes outstanding master's theses or doctoral dissertations that employ empirical research methods and use IEA data.

The Wolf Award recognizes the author or authors of a paper published in a refereed journal, monograph, or book that includes analysis of data from one or more IEA studies.

Winners of each award receive a certificate and prize of €500. Recipients may be asked to present their research at the IEA General Assembly meeting at the end of 2022.

Applications for either award may be submitted personally or on behalf of a colleague or student via email to secretatiat@iea.nl. The application deadline is 31 March 2022. Applicants receive feedback within six months of the closing date. Please see our awards page for further details. Details of last year's award winners can also be found here.

We look forward to receiving your applications!
