IEA is delighted to announce that registration is now open for this year's IEA International Research Conference (IRC), and we welcome delegates wishing to attend the conference on-site or online.
The 9th IEA IRC, will take place in Dubai on 16-18 November 2021, hosted by the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Education, and will be preceded by on-site workshops on secondary data analysis on 14-15 November 2021. More information about the IEA IRC pre-conference workshops can be found here.
First Hybrid IEA IRC
We understand that for many, it remains uncertain whether travel will be possible this year and as such, we are incorporating a hybrid mode into this year’s IRC. To ensure that all delegates wishing to attend the IRC 2021 have access to the conference content and networking opportunities, the IRC 2021 will take place in a hybrid form, both at the conference venue and online via the NXTSHOW conferencing platform. We hope that this will allow for some much-needed flexibility during this continued time of uncertainty.
Who should attend and why?
The IEA IRC is an example of our commitment to encouraging and promoting high-quality research based on IEA data. The IEA IRC provides an international forum for all those working with IEA study data to present their findings and exchange views on critical educational research issues in a comparative and global context.
We welcome researchers, educators, and policymakers interested in exchanging ideas and information related to working with IEA data. The IEA IRC offers a unique opportunity to meet and interact with each other, and to share knowledge in a range of different sessions.
How to register
To register attendance, please go to the registration system. If new to the system, delegates are prompted to submit an email address and choose a password. Once in the system, all delegates can register.
