IEA will host an information stand and also contribute to two pre-conference workshops at the CIES 2020 meeting.
Dr Julian Fraillon (ICILS study director) and Falk Brese (Research and Analysis Unit) will deliver a workshop: How well are students prepared for life in the digital age? Analyzing international data from 13 countries (including the US) from IEA's International Computer and Information Literacy Study (ICILS) 2018. The workshop will guide participants in how to make use of the wealth of valuable data available from ICILS 2018.
Aysel Gojayeva (Research and Analysis Unit) will contribute to a workshop, Comparative and international educational research made easy using free online data platforms and tools. Aysel will present an overview of the ILSA Gateway, the central point of information and resources for anyone interested in large-scale assessments.
