IEA is looking forward to presenting at CIES 2023 from 14-22 February in Washington, D.C.
This year's conference theme, "Improving Education for a More Equitable World," addresses real-world issues related to reforming education globally so that each child has access to education.
International large-scale assessments in education are considered a suitable source of information to measure and monitor progress towards SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) 4 indicators, offering systematic information from 100+ education systems. Using data from Rosetta Stone, Dirk Hastedt, IEA Executive Director, will present on equating regional assessment results with international assessments using statistical linking.
IEA will also present results from REDS (Responses to Educational Disruption Survey) in a session that features three papers from the upcoming IERI Large-Scale Assessments in Education Journal Special Issue on the educational disruption due to the COVID-19 crisis.
