IEA-ETS Research Institute (IERI) organized an Autumn Academy on assessment design, the use of Item Response Theory (IRT), and population modeling within large-scale assessments.
The Autumn Academy targeted participants with a basic knowledge of statistical analysis techniques, IRT, and multiple imputations. By the end of the Academy, participants:
- Gained insights and knowledge into the topics related to assessment designs and IRT
- Were able to use commercially and freely available software to conduct appropriate IRT analysis
- Generated proficiency estimates or plausible values
The Academy was limited to 20 participants, and participants were accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
