IEA together with the European Commission has launched a new Research & Policy Grant for Early Career Researchers, opening its first call for applications.
The World Education Research Association, in collaboration with IEA and the University of Hamburg, has opened the call for the WERA Visiting Researcher Award 2026. The award offers researchers in education the opportunity to spend six to eight weeks in Hamburg in 2026.
The 66th meeting of the IEA General Assembly was held in Madrid, Spain, from 06−09 October 2025. Thank you to our hosts, the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, National Institute of Educational Assessment (INEE).
The 11th IEA International Research Conference (IEA IRC) took place between 25–27 June 2025 at the Department of Humanities of Roma Tre University in Rome, Italy, and was preceded by pre-conference workshops on 23–24 June 2025.
