IEA projects are joint ventures, relying on a spirit of cooperation between partners to achieve common goals. As a nonprofit, tax-exempt institution, IEA is supported by its members and by funds from government agencies, foundations, and other organizations around the world. IEA fosters the establishment and growth of national expertise in assessment methodology and administration by delivering seminars and training for local staff engaged in national assessment activities.
