IEA, together with the World Education Research Association (WERA) and the research center Literacy in Diversity Settings (LiDS) at the University of Hamburg are pleased to announce a new WERA Visiting Researcher Award call for 2025.

The launch event, hosted in partnership with IEA, the TIMSS & PIRLS International Study Center at Boston College, and the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Education, presented results and key findings from IEA’s TIMSS 2023 International Report.

Now available, the TIMSS 2023 Encyclopedia presents the national contexts shaping mathematics and science education in each of the 72 participating countries and benchmarking systems.
