Looking back at the highlights from 2025 we are grateful to our network members and partners for their continued work on improving education using IEA data and inviting us to participate in their events.
IEA Research for Education, dedicated to investigating critical questions in educational research, released its 16th and 17th volumes in 2025, continuing to deliver important data-driven findings to the research community.
Focusing on partnership and collaboration, IEA has published three IEA Compass: Briefs in Education this year with authors from Education International, the World Bank, and Educational Research Centre.
IEA’s TIMSS 2023 Longitudinal is the first student-level longitudinal extension of TIMSS. TIMSS 2023 Longitudinal reassessed fourth- and eighth-grade students who participated in TIMSS 2023 in the fifth and ninth grades.
