The 10th IEA IRC in Ireland wrapped up today with an exciting closing discussion about the IRC’s future and what could potentially be incorporated.

Day 3 of the IRC saw a lovely plenary panel on giving back to teachers, and IEA’s efforts in this regard. Keynote speaker Carol Campbell, from the University of Toronto, Canada, covered ways in which to use research and data to inform teachers’ professional practices.

An innovative keynote presentation that kicked off a third day at the IRC spotlighted how delegates can work towards improving student learning and teacher practice.

This year’s anniversary of the IRC truly marked a special occasion for all in a stunning location. There were many opportunities to connect with various colleagues from across the world, and the many sessions of various formats provided great ways to move forward in the research field.

A sincere note of gratitude to our hosts at the Educational Research Centre of Ireland and sponsors, Failte Ireland, in partnership with Meet in Ireland, for all their effort. A note of appreciation to all presenters and delegates for their presentations and discussion, the IEA IRC would not exist without you.

We look forward to seeing you in Italy in 2025!
