IEA Research for Educators is the second peer-reviewed book series from IEA. This open-access series provides evidence-based instructional materials for classroom use, bridging the gap between education research and practice.
Each book in the series translates key insights from IEA studies into practical strategies and lesson ideas, sparking meaningful conversations between educators, practitioners, and researchers. With a focus on real-world application, this series empowers educators to integrate research-driven methods into their teaching.
This series is published in partnership with Springer Publishing Group.

Based on data from IEA's PIRLS, Volume One contains didactic teaching approaches from across the globe to improve reading skills and is a classroom resource that teachers can return to for lesson plan ideas.
Volume two offers educators practical, evidence-based strategies for teaching reading comprehension with digital texts. Drawing on insights from PIRLS, as well as teachers in Ireland, Italy, and Singapore, it provides actionable lesson ideas while promoting digital inclusion in the classroom.
All released volumes in this series are available to translate. If you are interested, please contact l.cheeseman@iea.nl
