IEA representatives will present results from ICCS 2016 at the World Education Research Association Focal Meeting in Tokyo.
IEA is hosting an invited symposium on the International Civic and Citizenship Education Study (ICCS) at the upcoming WERA (World Education Research Association) Conference in Toyko, Japan. The meeting marks the 10th anniversary of WERA Focal meetings and is based on the theme Future of Democracy and Education: Realizing Equity and Social Justice Worldwide, a topic of significant relevance for ICCS.
IEA is a proud member of WERA and we are pleased to work together with the association on many initiatives, including supporting the WERA visiting researcher award this year.
IEA staff Paulína Koršňáková, Andrea Netten and Jan-Philipp Wagner will present at the ICCS symposium along with Julian Fraillon from ACER. IEA will also contribute to the invited symposium on Advancing International Comparative Research on Teachers.
