After two years of online annual meetings, the 63rd General Assembly (GA) meeting successfully wrapped up following three days of collaborative in-person sessions.
Hosted by the National Centre for External Evaluation of Education in Croatia, the 63rd annual meeting of the IEA GA took place in Split, Croatia, 3-5 October 2022.
The IEA GA meets annually to review IEA projects and studies, membership and finance. Country representatives are invited to share their experiences with the dissemination of IEA study results as well as the impact of these results on national education policymaking.
International collaboration is at the heart of IEA’s research and activities. In addition to cooperation within the IEA network, this year the GA members saw presentations on the use and value of IEA data by our partners European Commission, Nordic Council of Ministers, UNESCO, and the World Education Research Association (WERA).
