Matthias von Davier Newly Elected Member of the National Academy of Education

Matthias von Davier, Executive Director of the TIMSS & PIRLS International Study Center at Boston College, has recently been elected to membership at the National Academy of Education as one of only seventeen scholars. Since 1965, the National Academy of Education has advanced high-quality education research and its use in policy and practice.

New members of the Academy are selected for this prestigious honor based on their outstanding scholarship to education. Only current members may nominate researchers and academics for election.

IEA extends its congratulations to Matthias von Davier on this outstanding achievement. Matthias has been an instrumental part of the TIMSS study since 1995.
