IRC 2023 – The Constantinos Papanastasiou Poster Prize

We were pleased to receive the highest ever number of submissions for an IEA International Research Conference (IEA IRC) poster session. Delegates were able to connect with the poster authors during a dedicated session, and were invited to vote for their favorite. Ms. Elodie Persem from the French Ministry of Education, with her poster The Challenges of Accessibility in International Assessments, was the winner by popular vote.

The Constantinos Papanastasiou Poster Prize

This award recognizes the best poster submitted to the IRC.

The prize was established in 2017 in recognition of Professor Constantinos Papanastasiou's enthusiastic, long-term contributions to building and supporting the educational research community we enjoy today. The award takes the form of a certificate and a prize of €500.

Submitting a 400-to-450-word poster proposal is a great way to engage and get acquainted with IEA studies and data, particularly for participants attending IRC for the first time. A poster proposal also provides a chance to share your work with conference participants.

At the 10th IEA IRC, which was held in Dublin, Ireland 28-30 June 2023, the poster winner was determined by popular vote by conference participants and IEA representatives attending the poster session.
