This award recognizes the best poster submitted to the IEA International Research Conference (IEA IRC).
The prize was established in 2017 in recognition of Professor Constantinos Papanastasiou's enthusiastic, long-term contributions to building and supporting the educational research community that we enjoy today. The award takes the form of a certificate and a prize of €500.
Submitting a 400-to-450-word poster proposal is a great way to engage and get acquainted with IEA studies and data, particularly for participants attending IRC for the first time. A poster proposal also provides submitters the chance to share their work with conference participants.
At the 11th IEA IRC, which will be held in Rome, Italy, 25-27 June 2025, the poster winner will be determined by popular vote by conference participants and IEA representatives attending the poster session.
All those students who submit a poster to the IEA IRC 2025, that adheres to the poster submission guidelines will automatically be entered in a raffle for one free registration to the 2025 IEA IRC in Rome, Italy. Entry is valued at €170, and a winner will be drawn on 15 January 2025 and will be notified by email.
