The ICILS 2023 Restricted Use Data will only be made available upon special request by researchers. It contains all data freely available in the ICILS 2023 Public Use Data, plus the additional variables listed below.
Researchers who want to use the additional data below need to formally apply and provide reasoning why they would need the additional data. They need to agree not to disclose any individuals.
If you are interested in working with the Restricted Use Data, you will need to apply using the IEA Restricted Use Data Application Form. In addition, you need to sign the Restricted Use Agreement. Please download, complete, and sign both the application form and the agreement, and send them to data@iea-hamburg.de
The application will be reviewed by IEA staff, who will decide upon access to the data. Applicants will get feedback within 3-4 weeks. In case access is granted to the applicant, the IEA will provide details on how to access the restricted-use data.
