The Teacher Snippet XL relates to the PIRLS Passage, 'Flowers on the Roof' which can be found in the accompanying Resource Pack.
This IEA Teacher Snippet XL is based on data from PIRLS 2016 and can be adapted by all countries that participated in the PIRLS 2016 study. PIRLS is an international assessment of fourth-grade reading achievement, with data collected every five years from approximately
50 countries. In addition to the reading test, students complete a questionnaire, in which they answer questions about their reading habits and attitudes.
