Diego Cortes is a Senior Statistician working at the IEA. He draws on a wealth of experience in survey methodology and data analysis in the context of large-scale assessments in the field of education. He specializes in generating probabilistic samples with a complex design and on examining how survey-design features impact the analysis of data. He holds a doctoral degree in applied micro econometrics from the University of Mainz.
