Past IEA International Research Conferences (IRC)

The IRC celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2023. In honor of this special occasion, we organized an anniversary conference around Researching Education and Learning.

The 9th IEA International Research Conference took place on 16-18 November 2021 at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dubai Healthcare City, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The 8th IEA IRC took place on 26–28 June 2019 at The Danish School of Education, Aarhus University.

The 7th IEA IRC was held from 28-30 June 2017 at Charles University, Prague.

The 6th IEA IRC was held 24-26 June 2015 in collaboration with the University of Pretoria.

The 5th IEA IRC was held from 26-28 June 2013, in cooperation with the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

The 3rd IEA-IRC took place from 1-3 July 2010, in cooperation with the University of Gothenburg and the University of Oslo.

The 3rd IEA IRC took place from 18-20 September 2008 in Taipei in collaboration with the National Science Council and National Taiwan Normal University.

The 2nd IEA IRC took place from 9-11 November 2006, at the Brookings Institution, Washington D.C.

The 1st IEA IRC took place from 11-13 May 2004, in cooperation with the Department of Education at the University of Cyprus.
